Hi. I’m Sheila. Before my life as a real estate agent, I worked in a law firm with severely injured clients. I spent many hours with them and learned everything about their lives. I developed a keen ability to listen to their wants and needs and translate that into results for them. While that job was rewarding it was also very sad at times. I wanted to do something else that brought joy into someone’s life in a shorter amount of time.
When it comes to buying and selling a home, understanding a person’s wants and needs and delivering on the results becomes personal – after all, we’re talking about your home and the biggest investment you will ever make. I’ve been selling real estate in the greater Portland Metro area since 2003 and I love what I do. I love the challenge of negotiating through a deal and watching my clients get excited. I also know that I have done a good job when I hear someone say “that was easy.” I work hard to anticipate things that may come up and be proactive in addressing and solving those issues in advance.
I also have experience in renovating homes, including designing and staging them. I have renovated two period homes and enjoyed learning the history and restoring the charm of that era. Because of this experience I am able to help buyers visualize what a space could look like with some work and my clients also benefit from my past successes and failures. I’m at ease in helping people find what they are looking for – whether that’s a first time home-buyer finding their entry level home, a buyer in search of their dream house in a million dollar property, or a senior citizen who is ready to sell and downsize to a smaller home. I’m here to support you every step of the way.
